    I paid $3000.00 for my timeshare to be sold and after a couple of years it still remains hopeless. I own at CAPE COD HOLIDAY ESTATES

    I have a timeshare in Orlando and would like to sell. It is paid for but still owes taxes. We can no longer afford it . Can you help me?

  15. Buying a Timeshare is one of the worst possible investment a person can do. I bought one from Holiday Inn for $19,000 with a yearly maintenance of over $600.00 along with mortgage payments. I paid on time for three years trying to get out of it during this time. I finally hired a attorney which cost me $7,500. If you are paying a mortgage and or maintenance you stop paying at the time you hire the attorney. The fee depends on how much you owe for the Timeshare. For instance if you owe $3,000 your fee would be in the 2k region. If you have the timeshare paid off the fee would be much less. I got out but Holiday Inn put a foreclosure report on my credit. I am now in the process of disputing this which a company working with the attorney is doing for no extra fee. I am over $20,000 out of pocket and Holiday Inn still reports that I owe them $17,500
